File Routers

File Routers are yet another way the Client can get data into Maxwell online.

Router Type

EFI and SpectroProofer harvesting

  • A File Router can be set up to upload measurements taken from an EFI "SpectroProofer" instrument as driven by EFI software. As a proof is generated and verified within the EFI app on the local computer, the Maxwell Client imports the measurement from the appropriate EFI folder and the data is uploaded into Maxwell for long-term trending analysis and storage.

Once this is set up, this is an effortless way to upload proof verifications into a Maxwell Track.

Contact CHROMiX Tech Support for more details on setting this up.

File Header method

  • In conjunction with a Hot Folder, a Router can look for key terms in the File Header of a measurement file and route a measurement to a specific Track. Maxwell has developed this function for some HP printers.
